Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test commonly known as EAMCET, this entrance examination will provide the admission to engineering and medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. EAMCET is a yearly examination written by a large number of engineering and medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh. Now the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) will conducts the EAMCET examination in every year. EAMCET EXAM is based on "Multiple choice type Questions".EAMCET paper has 160 questions with 40 marks for each subject (Maths A/Maths B/Botany, /Zoology, Physics and Chemistry). Chemistry and Physics question papers are different for E ('E' category) and AM (‘AM' category: Agriculture and Medicine) categories though the syllabus is the same for both categories.

The applicants who are going to appear in the examination 22nd May, 2014 for admissions into various Engineering and Medical and Agriculture degree courses. and also AP EAMCET Results 2014 will be released on 2nd June, 2014.

- The minimum eligibility required for EAMCET is A student must Pass in intermediate examination conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education.
- Student should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions.
- There is no upper age limit for Medical, Agriculture and Engineering aspirants to take EAMCET.
Results and Admission:
Every student will get a state-level rank based on his or her performance and marks scored in the EAMCET.Then the board will conduct the web counseling to the eligible student and provide admission to the UG courses.
